Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the stagnation of supply solution at the tray part and also, to prevent sticking of gel etc., by arranging upward conical tray and downward head cut cone cylindrical tray in multistage leaving the upper and lower space successively and alternately.
CONSTITUTION: The conical tray (a) is set up placing its head part upward and the head cut cone cylindrical tray (b) is set up placing its head cut part downward in the column A, such as distilling column. And, the trays (a) and (b) are set up in multistage leaving the upper and lower space successively and alternately. It is preferable that the vertical angle of the trays (a), (b) is 90W160°, the diameter d1 of the tray (a) is 1/2W4/5 of the inner diameter D of the column A, the diameter d2 of the head cut part of the tray (b) is 1/3DW4/5D and d1>d2. Solution is flowed down along inclined surface of the trays (a), (b) when the solution is vomitted from the supply opening 1 of the column A and the vapor generated from the heat source 2, is raised up along the inclined face of the tray. Then, said vapor is contacted with the solution and each low and high component is separated.
