Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve copying which is free from distorted transcription under any varied magnification, by making the transcribing material stand by at a specific standard feeding position conforming to magnification, and by feeding said transcribing material upon detecting the passing of the threshold of the original through the standard scanning position. CONSTITUTION:A standard position D for feeding the original is provided in the feeding path for the original O1, and the threshold position of said original O1 is detected by the light emitting element 23 and photodetecting element 24. The time required until the scanning starts after the threshold of said original O1 passed through the position D varies according to the selected magnification. Conforming to the variable time required, the standard positions C1, C2 and C3 for feeding the transcribing papers are provided, which make the threshold of said transcribing papers stop and stand by in the path for feeding the transcribing paper P.
