Abstract
PURPOSE: To cover the entire surface of normal concrete coat with plants for the improvement of environment by letting plants creep in thick growth along the connector line.
CONSTITUTION: Each concrete channel block 2 is arranged an the road surface at the lower edge of concrete retaining wall 1 and at its upper-end side. Then rope- shaped connector line 3 such as iron wire or synthetic resin filament is tensely spread across the side wall surface on the normal plane side of each channel block 2 to a prearranged interval parallel with the sloped plane with a fixed space provided against the sloped plane. Each channel block 2 is filled with fertile soil, and creeper, e.g. ivy is planted, so that it may grow thick creeping along the connector line 3. Thus the entire area of the retaining wall 1 will be covered with afforestation and greens.
