Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the uniform maximum speed performance for the electric motor vehicle on which different voltage power sources are loaded by providing a power source voltage sensing circuit and locking a field-weakening control circuit at the time of using a 48 V power source to thereby control the acceleration of the vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: The power source voltage sensing circuit 11 detects whether a battery voltage is 36 volts or 48 volts, and conducts a transistor TR1 through a resistor R3 at the time of 48 volts to cut off an input to an operational amplifier OP so as to lock a field-weakening contactor closing circuit. Since the circuit 11 thus conducts the field-weakening control at the time of using the 36 V power source to approach the motor speed characteristics to those when connecting to a 48 V power source and locks the field-weakening control at the time of using the 48 V power source, it is possible to conform in the motor speed to the time of 36 V field-weakening control and can consequently obtain the uniform maximum speed performance for the vehicle.
