Abstract
PURPOSE: To correct the elongation with time of a wire evenly and in wide range by providing a spring and a spacer for outwardly pulling a guide pulley for the wire, in a wire driving mechanism used for a space mechanism of a printer or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A guide pulley 5 guiding a driving wire 3 is axially supported by a side bracket 16 of the printer. A coil spring 20 applies a rotating effect to an arm 17, whereby the pulley 5 is pulled outwards. On the other hand, a spacer 22 in the shape of an inverted cone is provided at the upper edge of a notch 21 of the arm 17 and at the tupper edge of the side bracket 16. When the wire 3 is elongated, the pulley 5 is moved outwards by the coil spring 20 and the distance between the notch 21 and the side bracket 16 is enlarged. Accordingly, the spacer 22 moves downwards to restrict the movement of the arm 17.
