Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten the time for positioning of a target by counting the pulse number since the time when the target is detected until the stage stops, then performing the position movement to the visual field center at a predetermined speed only by the acceleration and attenuation operation of the stage.
CONSTITUTION: First, a mode setting circuit 7 causes an address counter circuit 9 to set up-down mode and count the pulses of a pulse generator 6. The address signal thereof causes a stage 13 to be driven by way of a driving speed determining circuit 10, a driver circuit 11 and a pulse motor 12 in synchronization with the pulses from a pulse generating circuit 6 according to the data signal of a drive memory 8 in which the driving system has been written in. When the target is detected, the stage 13 is moved to the center of the visual field at the low speed determined by the driving speed determining circuit 10 via the memory 8 by the address signal of the counter circuit 9 and is stopped by the signal 1 of the memory 8. Thereby, the time for the positioning of the target may be shortened.
