Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve the improvement in the heat radiative effect by providing the fin head with plastic deformation during the final processing to form fins by forcedly pressing the U-shape block to said head.
CONSTITUTION: When the material 1 halts at a specific position upon the heel block 2 after being fed on it, the upper side mold 4 descends and lightly holds said material upon the heel block 2. Then, the lower side mold 3 is lifted and pressed, and the material is pushed into the groove of said mold 4, so that the 1a having U-shape section is formed. Then, the U-shape block 5 with U-shape concave is lowered by the actuator 6. U-shape block is then forcedly pressed to the U-shape form upon the fin head from outer direction, and the plastic deformation is made again so that the spring bag will not take place. The fins made by said procedures are provided with satisfactory oil convection while satisfactorily retaining the parallel parts of the section, and thus, heat radiation effect is improved.
