Abstract

PURPOSE: To make cleaning higher in efficiency by rotating two sheets of concentrical discs of which the sections are parallel and assume waveform, and supplying the stained gas and cleaning liquid into the gaps therebetween thereby effectively contacting both.

CONSTITUTION: The stained gas and cleaning liquid supplied from the supply port 3 provided in the central part of the 1st disc 1 of waveform which is fixed to a revolving shaft 7 and is revolved thereby passes the space area formed by the 1st disc 1 and the 2nd disc 2; the stained gas by flowing like the dotted lines and the cleaning liquid by becoming fine liquid mist and crossing the stained gas like the solid lines. These are then released from the peripheral end into the casing 4 and the gas thus having been cleaned is exhausted on the outside through an exhaust port 5. The cleaning liquid having been stained flows down the outside wall of the casing 4 and is discharged to the outside through the liquid discharge port 6 provided in the casing bottom. The 1st disc 1 and the 2nd disc 2 are rotated at an equal speed in the same direction or are rotated at varying number of revolutions or rotating directions.
