Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to check the state of a battery accurately without almost influence upon the life of the battery, by utilizing the selective calling signal and by flowing the same load current as the actual use state for a short time to check the battery voltage. CONSTITUTION:The radio wave from the other party is applied to receiver 2 to take out the calling signal, and this signal is applied to calling signal detecting circuit 3 to decide whether the signal is transmitted to its own station or other stations; and if it is the local calling signal, the output signal from calling signal detecting circuit 3 is processed properly to generate a signal to operate a switching circuit for approximately 100-500msec, and switching circuit 6 is operated to apply the battery voltage of the battery connected to input terminal 10' to voltage detecting circuit 7. If the battery voltage is a prescribed voltage or less, an output signal is obtained from voltage detecting circuit 7 and is applied and held in self-holding circuit 8, and this information is sent to display or alarm circuit 9 to report the battery exchange time.
