Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit the dust and particles in the granular substance loaded on a dump truck to be sifted out simultaneously with the tilting of the bin and the dust and particles to be exhausted separately from the goods on board by attaching a sieving net to the bin and providing a hopper under the net.

CONSTITUTION: The floor board of the rear half of a bin 1 is cut, to which a sieving net 7 is replaceably attached, and a hopper 10 is provided under the net 7 so that the goods sifted out are exhausted into the hopper 10. In unloading, first, locking devices 3 and 5 for a rear flapper 2 and an intermediate flapper 4 are opened, and the bin 1 is tilted to the order of 50 degrees. During this, locking devices 5' and 5" for intermediate flappers 4' and 4" are opened successively from the rear. Granular goods pass uniformly on the sieving net 7, and dust and particles are sifted out into the hopper 10 under the net 7. Projecting lines 6 prevent the granular goods from flowing down all at once, and a floor board 9 in front of the net 7 allows the thickness of the goods flow before the net 7 to be uniform, and moreover a floor board 8 at the back of the net 7 prevents the goods under the net 7 from overflowing and mixing with the goods over the net 7.
