Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve operation performance by visually displaying a control signal sent from an operated side at an operation side. CONSTITUTION:In remote control transmitter 1, infrared-ray signal P received by photodetecting diode 6 is amplified by amplifier 7 and supplied to remote control decoder 8. Decoder 8 converts the signal into parallel six-bit data (f), which are supplied to and held by latch circuit 9 and supplied via decoder driving circuit 10 to seven-segment liquid crystal 11, where characters or symbols are displayed. Thus, remote control data transmitted from transmitter 1 are received by the unit side and while a control signal is supplied to the unit, the same data are sent from unit side 12 to transmitter side 1, so that the contents will be displayed on liquid crystal 11 at the transmitter side.
