Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify constitution by offering services of a three-person mutual talk only by changing connections of a main link. CONSTITUTION:If subscriber X makes a request for a connection to subscriber A while subscribers A and B are linked as shown if Fig.(a), subscriber X is connected to ring-back tone turnk RBT and subscriber A is connected to continuous ring-back tone trunk CRBT. Then, subscriber B is placed in a silent state. Next, although subscriber X is in a ring-back tone transmission state, subscribers A and B are connected together via main link SW. A transition to (d) is made about 500ms later and this is repeated. In this state, when subscriber A sets the handset off the hook, a transition to Fig.(e) is made to enable subscribers A and X to have a talk and subscriber B is connected to holding-tone trunk HST. When hooking is done again, a transition to connection state (f) is made and subscribers A and B are connected again.
