Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the waterproof property of the waveguide of a parabolic antenna, by using a thermally fusible sheet to cut off the water invasion path to the waveguide. CONSTITUTION:Flange part 4 having apertures 5 and 6 is formed around tip aperture 3 of waveguide 2. Thermally fusible sheet 15 having apertures 17, 16 and 18 oppositely to apertures 3, 5 and 6 is superposed onto this flange part 4. Further, waterproof sheet 7, sheet 8 for frequency determination having apertures 9, 10 and 11 oppositely to apertures 16, 17 and 18, and cap 12 are superposed in order onto this sheet 15 and are fixed by screws 14. Next, they are heated to soften sheet 15, and flange part 4 and waterproof sheet 7 are caused to adhere to each other. By cutting off the water invasion path by sheet 15 in this manner, the waterproof property of waveguide 2 can be improved.
