Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable installation of new transformer by utilizing the existing foundation as it is by placing sub-base on a buried base in the existing foundation and welding fixedly the sub-base to the buried base. CONSTITUTION:After removing an old transformer, a sub-base 5 is installed on a buried base 3 in a foundation 2, and welded fixedly to the base 3. A new transformer is installed on the sub-base 5 thus installed, and a transformer 1 is fixed onto the sub-base 5 with welding or bolting. In this manner, a new transformer can be installed by utilizing the existing foundation as it is so as to reduce the execution expense and largely reduce the time of working.
