Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve efficiency of pile driving operation by inducing a large oscillation amplitude at the tip of a pile.
CONSTITUTION: An inertia mass 5 that acts as an oscillation counterforce is arranged at one end on a piston side or a cylinder side of a piston cglinder unit 4 which is reciprocated by high frequency of oil, and a connector 6 is provided on the other end to be connected with a base end of a pile 1. The oil pressure compliance within the piston cylinder unit 4 or the intertia mass 5 is so adjusted that an absolute displacement between the inertia mass 5 and the connector 6 has a phase of 180° to drive the pile into the eath. Thus, when the pile 1, while being resonated, is driven, a combined amount of oscillation amplitude of an expansion amount of the pile 1 plus oscillation amplitude amount of the pile base end is produced, and therefore an effective pile driving operation can be performed.
