Abstract

PURPOSE:To use the same recording head in common to machines which are different in one line recording time by a method wherein common connecting lines in the portions of corresponding heating elements in an odd and an even group are connected separately with group selection signal heating and energizing circuits. CONSTITUTION:Assuming that a recording is made at recording speeds of 8m sec per line and 16m sec per line under 1728 dots per line and 16 dots per group, heating substances in each group are connected in common with common connecting lines in the 1st main group 11, 12, ..., 1216 and concerning the portions of the heating substances at the corresponding positions in each group, (R1, R17...), (R2, R18...), ... are connected in common with common connecting lines in the 2nd main group 21, 22, ...216. In the said circuit structure, for an 8 sec per line machine, the common connecting lines of the 2nd main group 21, 22, ...28 should be connected in common with 29, 210, 216 respectively, while, for a 16 sec per line machine, common connecting lines of the 1st main group 11, 13... should be connected in common with 12, 14... respectively.
