Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive recording system wherein only the selected positions can be recorded by overlapping heating elements respective for picture elements with other heating elements alloted to grouped picture elements, and by selectively opening or closing group selecting switches, of which the number equals that of the groups of picture elements, and picture information switches each common to each group of all the groups of picture elements.
CONSTITUTION: On a ceramic base 7 is deposited the first lead electrode 8, thereon is provided a thermal accumulating glass layer (a heat insulating barrier) 9, thereon is provided as a heating element a resistance 10 made from Ta-N, Ta-SiO2 or the like, thereon are provided an anti-oxidizing layer (an insulating layer) and then the second heating element 12, and thereon are provided an anti-oxidizing layer 11 and a hardwearing layer 14 having a resistance to wear by recording paper. For instance, the first heating elements 10 of which the number equals that of picture elements are arranged in a line, and n or more second heating elements 12 wherein n equals the number of grouped picture elements are provided. If n heating elements 12 are selectively heated to correspond to n picture informations, only the heating elements which has received thermobias can reach a color development level A to perform recording.
