Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent oblique feed, paper jamming, paper bending or the like, by revolving an endless flexible belt in the same direction as paper feed.
CONSTITUTION: The endless flexible belt 9 is attracted by a plurality of magnets 10 and revolved while curved like U between a drive pulley 5 and a driven pulley 6. As a result, the direction of paper 2 moved out by the first paper feed means 1 is sharply changed by 90° or more along the curved belt 9. The paper is then conveyed to the second paper feed means 3. At that time, the belt is revolved in the same direction of an arrow (d) as the conveyance of the paper so that the portion of the belt in contact with the front edge of the paper is moved together with it and frictional resistance is eliminated. According to this constitution, troubles in the paper feed are eliminated even if the thickness of the paper is small or the speed of the feed is high.
