Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove the affect of an offset of the output voltage and the irregularity of the sensitivity of a magnetic feild detector in a DC motor control circuit by limiting the amplified output voltage of the magnetic field detector to upper and lower reference voltages of the neutral potential of the variable and fixed reference voltages as a center. CONSTITUTION:The output voltage of the Hall element 46 is amplified by the differential amplifier 49 around the neutral potential VC of the reference voltages VA, VB as a center, is limited at the upper and the lower amplitudes by the diodes 52 and 55 to the voltages VA and VB, and applied through power transistors 58, 59 to a stator coil 64. The voltage VB is fixed by the constant voltage diode 23, and the voltage VA is altered by varying the base potential vs of a transistor 21. When the voltage VA is altered, the potential VC is simultaneously altered. Thus, even if the DC potential of the drive voltage waveform is varied, the phase of the point D for switching the current is not altered so that the drive current is switched symmetrically at the positive and negative going manner.
