The lower and upper values of the frequency band of each band programed in advance in an ROM31 are transferred to a frequency band storage section 28, and they are compared with the content of the storage section 27 at every band of LW, MW, SW, and FM. If they are outside of the band frequency, the content of the storage section 27 is corrected by the software so that the decimal point is in kHz unit and no digit is preset below the decimal point.
