Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the driving power of a blower for ventilation by controlling the direction of force ventilation, preventing dewing and humidifying in the material to be treated in the upper part of a fermentation tank, maintaining good air permeability.
CONSTITUTION: An air diffusing pipe 7 having multiple vent holes 7a is inserted into the central part of a fermentation tank 1, and is coupled to a pipe 3 so that the supplied air is released radially from the holes 7a. Hence, the air required for aerobic fermentation flows in the radial direction of the tank 1 from the pipe 7 toward the outside circumference, and therefore the air past the high-temp. part in the material 6 to be treated is prevented from contacting the cold material to be treated right after charging and from causing dewing and humidifying. Since the length of the flow passage of the air in the material is short and the required air flows in parallel in the material 6, the air resistance for passing through the inside of the material 6 is reduced.
