Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a correct exposure by so constituting the photometric circuits of a distance measuring means and a flash control circuit performing flash controlling that both measure the light past the optical path of a finder. CONSTITUTION:When a release button is pushed, the synchronizing switch of an operation discriminating setting circuit 3 closes, and a discharge tube emits light. By the reflected light of this light, the output of a photometric circuit 1 is increased gradually, is read by a read circuit 17 during a prescribed time and is stored in a data storage device 10. Thereafter, operation is carried out between the output of the circuit 17 and film sensitivity information by way of a photographing information setting means 2, an arithmetic circuit 8, etc., whereby distance information Dv is calculated, and a correct aperture value is set via a sequence control circuit 5. When the release button is further depressed, again the discharge tube emits light and when the reflected light from the subject attains prescribed quantity, the light emission is stopped. With such constitution, the object measured in both operations is the same and therefore the correct exposure is obtained.
