Abstract
PURPOSE:To contain optical fibers easily removably into an optical fiber cable without exerting any unnecessary external force by the constitution wherein the two holder members disposed in parallel with plural pieces of elastic tubes having slits longitudinally are held by leaving a prescribed spacing. CONSTITUTION:Elastic tubes 3-10 having slits 11 longitudinally are fixed by a platelike support member 12. To mount optical fibers 2, first they are inserted into the sleeves through the slits 11 of the elastic sleeves, thence they are U-turned and are similarly inserted into the elastic sleeves 6; thereafter, they are inserted in order of the sleeves 9, 5, 8, 4, 7, 3. Since they are inserted through the slits of the elastic tubes at the mounting, no undue bending and tensile forces are exerted upon the optical fibers, and the bend parts of all the optical fibers are bent to roughly equal curvatures.
