Abstract

PURPOSE: To avoid the simultaneous rotations of left and right spools at the time of inversion in order to make sending amount accurate by using a mechanism in which a pulse motor is used as a power source for moving an ink ribbon and the motor is reversely turned by a specific construction at the terminal of the ribbon.
CONSTITUTION: Planetary gears 5, 7, 8, 13, and 14 which gear with a gear 2 fixed to the output shaft of a pulse motor 1 are provided, and a partial gear 15 engaging with said planetary gears is provided between the left and right spools 9 and 10. For example, the motor 1 is turned clockwise to turn these gears 2, 5, 7, 8, and 13 in the direction of arrows in order to wind an ink ribbon 16 around the left spool 9. When the widing is complete, a lever 18 is turned clockwise around the shaft 19 as a center and a microswitch 24 is turned ON to reverse the motor 1. No reverse turning occurs in the spool 9, while a lever 3 turns clockwise around the shaft 4, the gears 8 and 13 are separated from each other, the gears 7 and 15 engage with each other, and the ribbon 16 is wound around the right spool 10.
EFFECT: The movement of the ribbon is not stopped at dead point.
