Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Long fibers 1c, e.g., of woolen yarn, etc., are folded and sandwiched in the form of a cord fabric, hung down on a core bar 1b in almost equally densed state, and then clamped by an U-shaped metal fitting 1a, etc., to form a filter element 1. The filter elements 1 are aligned in parallel at equal intervals inside a fitting frame. Thus, a filter device having excellent feasibility suitable for dust collectors, etc., can be obtained at low cost on mass production basis.
