Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively prevent sticking of scale by supplying acidic solution to the roll arranged in the rear part of flushing process after the surface treatment by alkaline aqueous solution. CONSTITUTION:The Al band sheet W treated the surface by alkaline aqueous solution, is travelled from the left and is introduced into the flushing treatment apparatus. The sheet W is passed through the roll R1 acting as travelling support at first and is started toward the roll R2. Washing water is supplied from the spray S1 in the process on the way and the surface of the sheet W is washed. Next, the sheet W is started toward the roll R3 passing through the roll R2 and acidic solution is fed from the spray S2 in the process on the way. As the result of it, the acidic solution is flowed on the sheet W in the reverse direction to the travelling direction and is reached th roll R2. Accordingly, the acidic solution is supplied on the roll 2 and accumulation of scale is prevented. Further, the sheet W is advanced to the next process through the roll R3.
