Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A controller 12 varies a local oscillation frequency so that the tuning frequency of a front end part 1 covers the entire FM broadcasting wave band, and transfers digital signal information on received electric field intensity stored in a memory 15 to a driver 17. The driver 17 drives a display device 18 according to the transferred information to display the received electric field intensity of each channel at a time. An operator puts an operation element 19, such as a light pen, close to a spatial position, assigned to a desired station, on a display screen, thereby selecting the channel through one-time operation.
