Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture a temperature detector excellent in the heat responsiveness and durability by fixing one end of a sensor and fastening the other end of the sensor with a spring in which a temperature sensing element is sandwiched by two insulated thin film sheets. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensing element is arranged almost in the center between two conductor foils, connected with a lead wire and sandwiched by two insulated thin films to form a sensor body. One end of the body is fixed and the other end thereof is mounted while is given a tension force lengthwise with a spring. The measurement of temperature is accomplished by bringing the central part of the body into contact with an object. For example, one end of a sensor body 10 is fixed with a support device 11 and the other end thereof is mounted tensionally with a spring 16 and the center of the body is brought into contact with an object like a fixing roller 21 of a copying machine to measure temperature. This enables a light contact pressure to be kept stable between objects thereby reducing friction of the sensor, which ensures a measurement with a better heat responsiveness.
