Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a simple heater by confining an oxidant in one bag of a heating mat utilizing heat produced in the reaction of an oxidant and a reducing agent and also a reducing agent in another bag. CONSTITUTION:An oxidant composed of NaClO3, or of their mixture is confined in one bag of a heating mat, consisting of a bag made of polypropylene, nylon, Teflon film, etc., and a small bag made of polyethylene film, housed in said bag, and also a reducing agent composed of one or more of CaSO3, NaHSO3, an aldehyde, and a metal powder is confined in another bag.
