Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of accidents to workers due to double falling of a slider in pressure forming using a slider that moves vertically through crank motion by providing a descent control system, an ascent control system and a stop control system in the slider.
CONSTITUTION: Vertical movement is given to a slider 5 through crank motion caused by rotation of an eccentric rotating part 2 and thereby a workpiece is worked between metal molds 7, 8. In this case, a sprocket 11 is rotated simultaneously by a chain 10 of a spraocket 9 which is rotated by a shaft 1 of the eccentric rotating part 2. A controlling unit made up of three rotating cams and an attached microswitch is installed on the sprocket 11, and a controlling unit that consists of another rotating cam and a microswitch is installed on the shaft 1 of the sprocket 9. In case of accidental falling down of the slider 5 due to cutting of the chain 10 etc., the slider 5 is stopped only when the output signal by the above-mentioned controlling unit is normal. Thus, double falling accidents due to unexpected falling can be prevented.
