Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled composition having improved flow properties, capable of forming a molded article with a small warpage, improved impact resistance and tensile strength, by blending a specific polypropylene with a nucleating agent consisting of an aromatic carboxylic acid-based compound.
CONSTITUTION: A polypropylene having a melt index 20W40 and a tensile strength at a yield point (JISK-7113) not less than 280kg/cm2, preferably not less than 300kg/cm2, especially obtained by heat treatment in the presence of an organic peroxide, is blended with 0.005W1.0wt% nucleating agent (e.g., monophenyl acetate).
USE: A wide molded article, e.g., cover of electric washing machine, large box, drawer, etc. is required to have accurate engagement with other members.
