Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the replacement of solar-cell modules without directly exposing output terminals to the external atmosphere, taking out the solar cell outputs, and enabling the modules to be mounted to or dismounted from a solar battery frame. CONSTITUTION:The solar light energy can efficiently pass through reinforced transparent glass 1. Said glass protects solar cell elements 2 and 2' from the external mechanical force. The output terminals 7 and 7' are covered by resin 3 for protection against water and shocks, connected to a linking wire 17 of the solar cell elements 2 and 2', and protruded from the resin 3. The lower part of a housing 5 which encloses the output terminals 7 and 7' is covered by the resin 3, and the back of the module is covered by a weather resistant material 4. The upper part of the housing 5 is hermetically sealed by a lid 6 via a packing 9 with bolts 10 and 10'. Output leads 18 and 18' are connected to the output terminals 7 and 7'.
