Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve heat-resisting, oil-proof, rust-proof and electroconductive properties by a method wherein knitted metal fine wires is subjected to compression forming after corrugating processing is applied thereto and is thereby made to have a vacancy rate of 15-80% in the vibration-proof sheet provided between the vibrating part of an engine and the like and a stopping part thereor. CONSTITUTION:The vibration-proof sheet 4 which is set between the vibrating member 1 and the stopping member 2, contacts with the stopping member 2 and is pressed by a coil spring 3 formed by a method wherein a tubular body 4a formed by knitting the metal fine wires having a diameter of about 0.1-0.4mm. is made flat and then made to be a waved flat body 4b by applying waving processing thereto, this body is formed into a rolled sack body 4c by rolling the same from the end part thereof to form a tubular sack and later the body 4c is compressed. By this constitution, the vibration sheets 4-6 is made to have nonlinear hysteresis property and can control the vibration in a high-frequency band.
