Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient vibration-proof effect and to eliminate a breakdown even in case of maximum acceleration, by providing a stopper which restrains relative displacement between a microphone element and a support frame within the elastic limit of a buffer member. CONSTITUTION:A limiting projection 3d projects inward from a support ring 2a and each tip is arranged with a gap A to the outside circumference of a microphone element 1. Further, a limiting bent projection 2e is arranged with its tip part overlapping with the flank of the element 1 and a gap B is kept between its inside surface and the flank of the element 1. The gaps A and B are so set that a buffer member 3 goes beyond an elastic limit when the element 1 is displaced from a frame 2. In this constitution, vibrations, when applied externally, are absorbed through the operation of the member 3. An excessive shock, when applied, is relieved by member 3 and the collision of the element 1 with the limiting projection of the frame 2 prevents the element 1 from breaking.
