Then, the microcomputer stores the data from the detector 11 into an RAM. Upon ending of this process, a forward-backward running clutch 6 changes over to backward running, thereby running the belt 3 backward and returning the original O to the insertion port. Thereby, the transmittance of the original is measured with good efficiency.
