Abstract
PURPOSE: To heat the feet of a human body while efficiently heating a room by blowing hot air from a lower auxiliary diffuser through a part of a hot air room heater from the hot air from an upper main diffuser through the entire room heater.
CONSTITUTION: There are provided a fan 3 at the lower stage, a heater 4 at the middle stage, a cooler 5 at the upper stage in a room heater body 1, a main diffuser 6 at the upper front part of the body 1 and an auxiliary diffuser 7 obliquely downwardly directed at the slightly upper middle stage of the diffuser of the fan 3. A circular arc-shaped filter 10 is mounted detachably from the diffuser 7 at the suction port 8 of the fan 3 via guide rails 9 and a frame 11 at the upper part of the diffuser. Partition plates 14, 15 are provided at the upper and the lower parts of the drawing port 13 of the filter, a slot 16 is perforated only at the upper partition plate 14, and a guide unit 17 is provided at the rear part of the plate 14 to direct the air stream toward the heater 4. A humidifier 18 which is composed of a humidifying tank 19 and a porous vaporization plate 20 is provided in the guide unit 17.
