Abstract
PURPOSE: To support the full load of a flying boat with its airfoil and to obtain thrust with a hydroscrew thus reduce friction resistance and wave drag of the boat at its sailing, by equipping the airfoil and an attitude controller and their controlling device to the flying boat.
CONSTITUTION: A ship body 1 is of construction like a general motorboat with narrowed width, and the bottom is of relatively moderate V-shape. In the front of ship body 1, there are provided a seat 2 further a control device 3 in its front while a windshield 4 in the above. To left and right sides of the ship body 1 main wings 5 are provided with a large sweepback angle, then ailerons 6 are mounted to left and right trailing edges of the wing 5 further a horizontal stabilizer 8, vertical stabilizer 10 and rudder 11 are mounted to the tail. Accordingly at the sailing of the boat, buoyancy of the bottom and lift of the main wing can float the boat to allow it sail in a sliding state, and as speed of the boat rises it can float completely from above the surface of water to obtain a slide flying state.
