Abstract
PURPOSE:To know the number of frames of a film every time the film is wound by one frame, by providing a discriminating means for the number of frames of a film to a cartridge and by discriminating the number of frames of the film by the discriminating means and then setting it to an electronic counter. CONSTITUTION:In case of a 12-exposure film, for example, by opening a back cover a drawback switch S4 is set to ''1'' and a counter 13 and a shift register 17 are reset. Simultaneously, a set signal is supplied to an FF18 to hold an output Q'7 at phi. When the back cover is closed, the switch S4 is set to phi and switches S1 and S2 for discriminating the number of frames of a film in a cartridge become both equal to phi, sending a signal to a discriminating circuit 6. The circuit 6 discriminates the 12-exposure film and sends a 12-exposure setting signal to AND gates 7-12. Since the output F of an NOR gate 16 is also at ''1'', a counter 13 is so set that ''12'' can be displayed. Consequently, when the film is advanced by three frames with a winding lever, a liquid-crystal panel 15 displays ''12''.
