Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the life of batteries particularly longer by intermittently activating the electronic parts of an electronic measuring instrument. CONSTITUTION:The signal from a magnetic sensor 7 is being integrated and stored by the memory M of a control part 13. The rotation of the magnet mounted to the decelerated revolving shaft of the meter is not so fast and therefore if the state of the sensor 7 is once monitored, a timer 14 is reset by the reset signal RS from a control part 13. Then, a power source switch 15 is turned off, and the electric power from a battery 9 is supplied only to the timer 14 and AND circuit 16, so that the entire part of the circuit is nonactivated. After a fixed time, the timer 14 turns on and the circuit 16 operates, thereby closing the switch. Then, the power source is supplied into the part 13, and an integrating circuit C operates to integrate the signal from the sensor 7 into the memory M, and again the timer 14 is reset. Since the circuit 13 repeats the activation state intermittently, the consumption of the battery is less.
