Abstract

PURPOSE:To store electric charges according to incident light of a means and to prevent adverse effect on picked up picture, by providing a means taking the data optically on the photosensitive part provided in the storage section and making light emission and driving the taking means after the stored electric charges of the pickup section is transferred to the storage section. CONSTITUTION:A number of photosensitive elements are formed in one body on a frame transfer type CCD 1, and the CCD 1 consists of a pickup section 1a, storage section 1b and a line transfer section 1c. The light shielding layer B is formed om this storage section 1b and a photosensitive section 1e is provided. Further, the photosensitive section 1e is provided with an optical data taking means consisting of an LED 34a, and shrinking lens 34b. To this taking means, a data input means 30 and an AND circuit 32 taking the output of a sink driver 2 supplying transfer pulse to each photosensitive element as the input, are connected. Further, after the stored electric charges of the pickup section 1a is transferred to the storage section 1b, the taking means is driven for illumination, allowing to store the storage according to the incident light of the taking means.
