Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the aberration and at the same time realize a compact structure for a double component zoom lens system having about a double zoom ratio, by forming the front group with a negative meniscus lens, a negative lens and a positive meniscus lens and the rear group with two positive lenses, a negative lens and a positive lens respectively to satisfy various terms. CONSTITUTION:A double component zoom lens system consists of the front group having a negative refractive power as a whole and the rear group having a positive refractive power as a whole. The front group consists of a negative meniscus lens L1 with the concave side turned to the image side, a negative lens L2 and a positive meniscus lens L3 with the concave side turned to the image side in that order from the side of an object. The rear group consists of two positiv lenses L4 and L5, a negative lens L6 having a large curvature surface at the image side and a positive lens L7. Then the terms (1)-(4) are satified, where fL and fI are synthetic focal distance of the full system and the front group I and d4 is an air space between L2 and L3.
