Abstract
PURPOSE:To supply a stable bias with no switching distortion, by providing an autobias circuit consisting of an active element that is controlled by a differential amplifier to an SEPP amplifier which is used to an audio power amplifier or the like. CONSTITUTION:The input signal is supplied to the bases of the transistors (TR) Q1 and Q3. The TRs Q1 and Q3 from a pair of differential amplifiers along with the TRs Q2 and Q4, and the output of these amplifiers are supplied to the bases of the output TRs Q9 and Q11. The outputs of these TRs Q9 and Q10 plus TRs Q11 and Q12 give a push-pull driving to the load at a common output point OUT. Then the bias potential is applied via the diodes D1 and D2 to the bases of TRs Q13 and Q16 of one side which form a pair of differential circuits; while the input of the TRs Q9 and Q11 are applied to the bases of the TRs Q14 and Q16 of the other side. Furthermore a cut-off is prevented for the TRs Q9 and Q10 plus TRs Q11 and Q12 by the TRs Q15 and Q18 whose bases are connected to the collectors of the TRs Q13 and Q16 respectively. As a result, the switching distortion can be eliminated.
