Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titlted flexible receptor having high sensitivity and undergoing no change in the characteristics by charging and exposure by forming a photosensitive layer consisting of a charge generating layer contg. a specified azo pigment and a charge transferring layer contg. a hydrazone compound on an electrically conductive support. CONSTITUTION:On electrically conductive support 1 photosensitive layer 5 is formed consisting of charge generating layer 3 having <=2mum thickness and contg. >=30wt% azo pigment of 3,7-bis[2-hydroxy-3-(3-nitrophenylcarbamoyl)-1-naphthylazo]dibenzothio phene-5,5-dioxide represented by formula I and of charge transferring layer 4 having 3-50mum thickness and contg. a 20-70wt% hydrazone compound represented by formula II (where R is lower alkyl or aralkyl). Thus, sufficient charging potential is obtd. in the dark, surface charges are dispersed rapidly in exposure, and a fine image is reproduced.
