Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect level unbalance among supporting legs easily and accurately by fitting strain gauges to beam members which couple a fulcrum member for measurement provided at the lower center part of a structure with supporting legs arranged radially. CONSTITUTION:At the lower center part of structure 1, fulcrum member 5 for measurement is supported on rack 2. Supporting legs 3 arranged radially around fulcrum member 5 are coupled with the fulcrum member by beam members 4 for measurement. Strain gauge 6 is fitted to each beam member and connected to strain meausuring instrument 7. Strain generated across beam member 4 is measured through strain gauge 6 and strain measuring instrment 7 and an adjustment is made by liner 8 until the level balance of each supporting leg 3 is made uniform. Thus, the level unbalance is detected easily and accurately.
