PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering in manufacturing yield and to reduce the manufacutre cost, by splitting the uncommon part of the data bus and address bus drive circuit into a plurality of blocks and by making nondefective goods of the block of each pair into operating state and others into ineffective state. CONSTITUTION:After manufacture, the decision of the propriety of all the block sections P1-Pn/2 of the data bus drive circuit 41 plus the address bus drive circuit 5 set to the movable state is made. As a result, defective blocks are set to ineffective state and other blocks corresponding to this are set to movable state. Thus, the blocks are driven with any good one out of a pair of blocks P1-Pn/2 of a pair of drive circuits 41, 42 at the both ends of one data bus groups B1-Bn of each memory cell 1 and further out of a pair of blocks P1-Ppm/2 of a pair of drive circuits 51, 52 at the both ends of the address bus groups A1-Am.
