PURPOSE:To eliminate the miss by which a rewinding button is kept pushed by providing a means of disconnecting a fixed-length film feed mechanism of a camera from a transmission system for driving power by manual or electrical drive by the operation of an operating member for rewinding. CONSTITUTION:In a winding state, a clutch gear (hereinafter referred to as C gear) 18 is meshed with the gear 16 of a winding driving system, and when the revolution of a motor 1 is transmitted to the C gear 18 via gear trains 2-6, a spool 13 is revolved by the gear trains of the winding driving system. The top surface raised part 7c of a cam 7 for film indexing is held meshed with the under surface recess of the C gear 18, and the sprocket 8 integral with this cam 7 and charger for the shutter, AF, etc. are driven, by which the indexing of the film and the charging of respective parts are accomplished. In the case of rewinding, on the other hand, a rewinding button 17 is pushed upward to disengage the meshing of the C gear 18 and the gear 16 of the driving system, and to mesh the C gear 18 with the driving system gear 19, whereby the rewinging is accomplished.
