Abstract
PURPOSE: To set the hot water supplying temperature equal to the using hot water temperature by burning a burner simultaneously upon starting of supplying the hot water with constant combustion heat until the temperature of the supplying hot water reaches the using hot water temperature, and then intermittently burning the burner with the constant combustion heat.
CONSTITUTION: After a burner B is burnt with constant combustion heat simultaneously upon starting of supplying the hot water until the temperature of the supplying hot water reaches the using hot water temperature, it is intermittently burnt with the constant combustion heat through an arithmetic circuit C or the like. When a hot water supply valve 40 is opened, a supplying water flow rate detecting switch 7, a supplying water temperature detecting switch 8 and the arithmetic circuit C will simultaneously operate. The supplying water flow rate and temperature are inputted to the arithmetic circuit C, which thus calculates the initial combustion time t0 for the burner B and the burner stopping time t2 for the intermittent burner combustion. The arithmetic circuit C will deliver an operation signal to the solenoid pump 12 of a burner nozzle 9 based on the calculated result, with the result that a pump 12 will operate during the time t0 after the supply of hot water, will stop during the time t2 thereafter and the burner will operate during the time t1. These operations are repeated to allow the supplying hot water temperature to maintain the using hot water temperature.
