Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the productions of a soot and a CO due to temporary lack of air in a forced air supply and exhaust type enclosed combustion apparatus such as a domestic room heater or the like by controlling the air flow rate, then supplying a fuel based on the air flow rate and smoothly varying the air flow rate based on the temperature change at a load side.
CONSTITUTION: The temperature of a heat medium circulated in a cycle C and transferred to a load is detected by temperature sensors 4A, 4B, the voltage exhibiting the reference temperature of the heat medium is compared with the measured voltages from the sensors 4A, 4B, in a rotational frequency controlling circuit 13 of a burner fan motor 12 to determine the rotational frequency of the motor 12, and the air flow rate necessary for the combustion is determined before deciding the fuel flow rate. The air flow rate of the air flowed into a combustor 1 is calculated by an air flow rate sensor 14 such as a hot-wire type anemometer or the like, the signal from the sensor 14 is fed to a frequency controlling circuit 18, and the fuel of the flow rate based in a relation of air flow rate (A)/set fuel flow rate (F) = constant (K) required to burn the fuel of the set fuel flow rate is fed by a pump 17 to the combustor 1. Because, first the A and thereafter the F are determined in this sequence, the contrived purpose can be achieved.
