CONSTITUTION:Two-stage squeeze wiper devices each composed of squeeze wipers 2, 3 are provided to crossover part A between vessel 6 holding a color developer and vessel 7 holding a bleaching and fixing bath, crossover part B between vessel 7 and vessel 8 holding a washing bath, and crossover part C between vessel 8 and drying device 9. Beltlike material 1 which is conveyed in conveyance direction (b) is imagewise exposed, color developed in vessel 6, and conveyed to next vessel 7. At this time, most of the developer brought out of vessel 6 together with material 1 is scraped by wipers 2, 3 at crossover part A to reduce the amount of the developer brought into vessel 7.
