Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an optical loop data transmission system which requires no guard band and has used a photoaccessor having high utilization factor of a transmission line, by adding the start and end information to a burst signal. CONSTITUTION:Burst signals A, B having no guard band are sent out from the center station. The remote station processes the received signals by the light pulse send-out means and sends out the burst signals A', B' which have been regenerated, so that delay is superposed together on the burst signals whose level has been lowered. Also, a communication burst signal C from the own station detects an idle time space and is inserted asynchronously. In this case, even when the burst signal C of #1 station is detected in the course of inserting a burst signal Z in #2 station and the signal Z is halted on the way, the start information showing the start of the signal and the end information showing its end are added to each burst signal so that only a perfect burst signal can be extracted.
